When will my order arrive?

  • Off-the-rack products such as suits, sport coats, shirts, etc. generally ship about 4-5 business days from the day the order was placed. If you would like more information about our shipping timelines, please contact our shipping team at: shipping@spierandmackay.com
  • Custom shirts typically take about 4-6 weeks for production & shipping. If this is your first time ordering custom shirts from us, then we will send one shirt first as a test to make sure that the measurements & fit are to your liking. Once you have confirmed the fit or told us what adjustments you’d like to make to your remaining shirts, then the balance of your order will be produced & shipped within 4-5 weeks.
  • Made-To-Order garments such as custom suits or sport coats will take about 7-8 weeks for production & shipping. If you have any questions about our custom products such as shirts or suits, please email our production team at: custom@spierandmackay.com
  • Please note that shipping times may vary depending on high order volumes and busy periods throughout the year.
How do I return my items?

Is every Made to Measure Pattern unique?
  • Absolutely. Unlike other made-to-measure shirtmakers who simply modify existing patterns to fit your measurements, we develop a new pattern from scratch for each customer based on your unique measurements and proportions. The advantage of this is a superior and more comfortable fitting shirt that looks, moves and feels better. We feel this is the closest to getting a bespoke shirt without going the full bespoke route.

Do I need to worry about fabric shrinkage?
  • Most of our shirt fabrics are made from 100% cotton, so it is likely that they will experience some slight shrinkage during the first few washes. For best results, we recommend washing your shirts in cold water and then hanging them up to dry. If you follow these washing instructions, then the shrinkage should be contained at 1-3% over the first 3 washes.
  • Our tailored clothing such as suits, sport coats, & trousers cannot be machine-washed and should be professionally dry-cleaned when necessary. As long as proper care instructions are followed and the garment is not dry-cleaned too frequently, then there should not be any significant shrinkage.
How do I track my order? 
  • When your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email from our shipping team with a tracking number for either UPS or Canada Post. You can then use this tracking number on the shipment carrier’s website to follow the progress of your package.
How can I pay for my order?
  • We currently accept Visa, and Mastercard through our secured, accredited transaction partner Braintree. In addition, we also accept Paypal & Sezzle as alternate payment methods.
How do I know my Dress Shirt will fit?
  • Our off-the-rack shirt program was developed in conjunction with highly skilled master tailors with over 25 years of experience in the clothing industry. We offer our off-the-rack shirts in multiple sizes and 3 different body fits that allow us to fit a wide variety of shapes & body types. For customers who have difficulty fitting into our off-the-rack garments, then we also offer a custom shirt program.
What countries do you ship to?
  • We currently ship to Canada, continental United States, Europe, Australia, United Kingdom, Middle East, and most of Asia.
  • For all orders outside of Canada, prices are shown in US Dollars and are subject to the conversion rate of your credit card company or bank at the time of the transaction (if applicable).
  • For international customers located outside of the United States and Canada, we offered a partial reimbursement of 50% of the duties & fees charged on your order (excluding Taxes/ VAT) as a store credit in your account if you can provide us with a copy of your receipt or proof of payment.

    However, as of June 30, 2023, we updated our website to include a duties, fees & taxes calculator for international customers at checkout so the exact amount can be determined & paid at the time of purchase, and no further payment will be necessary when the package is delivered to you. This will make the buying process much smoother and simpler for our international customers.

    In addition, we will be reducing the reimbursement amount for the duties & taxes (excluding taxes/ VAT) on international orders to 25% of the amount paid as store credit added to your account.

What is Sezzle?
  • Sezzle is a payment solution that gives you the freedom to buy now and pay later - with no interest! When you complete a purchase with Sezzle, we will process your order just like you paid in full, but you will have only paid a fraction of the cost. How does it work?
  • Select Sezzle as your payment method during checkout.
  • New Sezzle customers will need to create a Sezzle account, returning Sezzle customers will need to log in.
  • Sezzle will do a soft credit check for approval of the transaction.
  • As little as 25% is due at the time of the purchase, with the remaining amount spread out over equal installments (typically three), each two weeks apart.
  • Sezzle automates the remaining payments through whichever payment method is on file.
  • No interest or processing fees are charged to you - as long as you pay everything off on time, you only pay for what you ordered!
What is your Refunds & Price Adjustments Policy?
  • Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment or store credit. 
  • Refunds can take up to 10-14 business days to show up on your credit card after we received the items back in our warehouse for processing.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • To be eligible for a price adjustment, the identical size, fit, & colour of the item must be in stock at the time of the request.
  • We honour price adjustments as store credit only within 14 days from the day that the order was placed. After 14 days, orders are no longer eligible for any price adjustments.
  • Please note that we do not offer price adjustments on Flash Sale and Final Sale items.
  • Please note that we cannot retroactively apply coupons or promo codes to existing orders once they have already been placed.
