Off-the-Rack Items

Please note we no longer process exchanges for online orders. Please email our returns team at returns@spierandmackay.com for a return label so you can simply return your current purchase for a refund or store credit, and place a new order for the replacement products. This will significantly speed up the exchange process and allow us to process returns more quickly.

• All regular-priced items are eligible for returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. Please take a look at our Footwear & Underwear Return Policies (links at the bottom of this page).
• Items that are purchased on sale or using a promo/discount code are eligible for returns within 14 days from the date of delivery.
• After 30 days from the date of delivery, all items are considered Final Sale and no longer eligible for returns.
  
  Please Note:
• Once the return label has been created, you will have 14 days to use that label to return your order. If the return label has not been used within the 14-day window and expires, then the order is considered Final Sale and no longer eligible for return.
• All items must be returned with the correct SMRT number/return label that corresponds to the original order.
• Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment or store credit.

In addition, the following items are ineligible for returns:

• Final Sale Products (No Exceptions): Please be aware that purchasing a Final Sale item is at the customer's own risk. If you are unsure of the size, colour, style, or fit, please do not purchase any Final Sale products.
•  Any garment that has been altered, hemmed, washed, or worn. Altering any garment is at the customer's risk. If you are unsure about the size, fit, or product in general, please do not have the garment altered, or wash/wear it.

For customers located in the USA, we offer a free return on your first purchase of a Suit/Sport Coat, Shoes, Dress & Casual Trousers, Outerwear, Knitwear and Dress & Casual Shirts. After your first purchase, then the following return fees will be deducted from your refund:

• $7.95 per return order for shirts, trousers, knitwear, accessories, and small items
• $14.95 for suits, sport coats, outerwear, & tailored clothing
• $5.95 restocking fee for any nested suit for which a trouser swap was requested and returned

In addition, the following restocking fees will apply for any returned item that is missing the following components:

• $5 restocking fee for any item that is returned with the tags and stitches missing
• $5 restocking fee for any item that is shipped with a hanger and returned without the hanger (e.g. suit, sport coat, outerwear)
• $5 restocking fee for any item that is shipped with a garment bag and returned without the garment bag (e.g. suit, sport coat, outerwear)
  

Trouser Swaps (Please note that our dress trousers have extra fabric in the waistband that can be let out up to 1.5 inches by a tailor. A tailor can also take in the waist & seat or taper the trouser legs if they are slightly too loose on you)

• • • If this is your first time purchasing a suit from us, and you would like to exchange the trousers for a different size, then a restocking fee of $5.95 will apply.
    • If this is not your first suit purchase from us and you would like to exchange the trousers for a different size, then a return fee of $5.95 will apply, as well as a restocking fee of $5.95.

Refund & Price Adjustment Policy

• Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment or store credit.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable.
• To be eligible for a price adjustment, the identical size, fit, & colour of the item must be in stock at the time of the request.
• We honour price adjustments as store credit only within 14 days from the day that the order was placed. After 14 days, orders are no longer eligible for any price adjustments.
  • Please note, if you decide to return this item within the allowable return window, the price adjustment is irreversible. Store credit does not expire. 
    
• Please note that we do not offer price adjustments on Flash Sale and Final Sale items.
• Please note that we cannot retroactively apply coupons or promo codes to existing orders once they have already been placed.
• If you place an order using a discount or promo code and then return the items that were purchased, then the promo cannot be applied to a subsequent order if it has already expired or the sale period has ended. However, if you would like to re-purchase an item that was originally bought on sale and then returned due to the size or fit being incorrect, then please email our customer service team at info@spierandmackay.com with your new order number to receive a price adjustment as a store credit.

• For international customers located outside of Canada and the US, the cost of the return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer, and all duties, fees and tax charges need to be paid in advance by the customer. Return packages requiring SPIER & MACKAY to cover duties, fees and tax charges will be turned back OR charged back to the customer.
• Should you wish to return your purchase, please contact our returns team at returns@spierandmackay.com, and we will provide a Return Authorization Number to write on the return package.
